What’s Up Overview
RTH is committed to fostering optimum physical and behavioral health to all the members of our community. To this end, we maintain educational and recreational facilities, qualified professional staff and a broad scope of programs in our Community Center, swimming pool, library and technology center. Program Descriptions
There are offerings for all ages and fitness levels to build and maintain strength, flexibility and fitness: personal training, yoga, tai chi, exercise classes, sports and aquatics. We also offer programs to keep you intellectually and socially stimulated.
We provide lots of fun and educational options for ages 5-12, depending on the season, with After-School, Vacation Week, Summer Camps and Childwatch services.
We offer a variety of programs and services that allow you to access education, job training, and employment. Our goal is to help you prepare for and find work that will allow you to gain freedom from situational and generational poverty, and ultimately become financially self-sufficient.
Our Senior Services department offers a comprehensive array of recreation, education, and social programs as well as support services devoted to keeping our senior neighbors active and aging in place.
Our state-of-the-art fitness facilities (weights, cardio, basketball courts and more); extensive and varied group fitness schedule and friendly certified staff offer possibilities for all to remain strong, active and thriving.
Residents can enjoy our swimming pool and wading pool during warmer months for both individual use, group swim programs and our summer camp. RTH residents have access to the swimming facilities at the Huntington Avenue YMCA.
We help you work the system. We can be there for you to help complete certification documents for programs like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. We serve as a liaison with hospital or nursing facilities when a Senior resident is ready to transition back home, working closely with hospital social workers and organizations.
