Our Neighborhood
RTH is a vibrant and exciting neighborhood made up of more than just housing. We offer a variety of services where you can find connection and enrich your life. The Community Center houses the Welcome Desk, Health & Wellness Center, the Teen Center, and the gym. The Betty Powers Library provides assistance with research, learning, and technology. The Mary T. Clifford Memorial Pool and Parks Community Building offer a variety of events and activities for all ages. You can also find gardens, parks, playgrounds, and more within our community.

RTH Community Center
The RTH Community Center is located at 20A Vining Street and houses our Welcome Desk, the Health & Wellness Center, and the Johnathan Brody Teen Center and the Gymnasium.
Our Gym has a full-sized basketball court that is also used for hosting special events.

The Educational Resource Center at the Betty Powers Library
The Resource Center is a technology equipped environment that support a variety of educational and job training programs for the RTH community. The Resource Center contain the Betty Powers Library & Computer Learning Center which includes reference books and study materials as well as computer training center that supports workshops and special events.
The Resource Center additionally provides other service such as photo copying, fax, and printing services as well as Internet access.

Mary T. Clifford Memorial Pool
RTH offers swimming and wading pools to all residents. The pool is open from early June to early December and supports both recreational needs as well as aquatics programs.
The pool is located at 2 New Whitney Street.

Robert & Theresa Parks Community Building
The Parks Community Building houses the Resident Services department as well as common areas used to support Pool access and community events.

Playgrounds and Recreational Spaces
There are several recreational and open spaces on Roxbury Tenants of Harvard properties are available for individual and family use.
Francis Street Garden
The garden is available to residents who want to enjoy a quiet place.
Play Structure and Spray Park
Located at the New Whitney Street loop, this facility has playground equipment and plenty of open spaces for children.
Ellen T. (Nana) Daley Park
Located at Flynn Drive, this is another playground facility with water function for children.
Kempton Street Playground
Located at the end of Kempton Street.
Playground at Mosaic
Located at 80 Fenwood Road, this area is available to all residents of the community (also includes a play area for the Roxbury Tenants of Harvard Early Learning Center).
Basketball Half Court
Located near the Pool, this is an outdoor basketball court.
Levinson Plaza
Designed by award-winning architect Mikyoung Kim, this area contains benches and open spaces for residents.
