The 2025 Chinese, Lunar New Year celebration was a spectacular event that will be remembered for years to come! With over 300 attendees, the diverse community came together in a spirit of joy and celebration that was palpable! The evening was filled with electrifying performances, including the mesmerizing Lion Dance by the Kwong Kow Chinese School Lion Dancing Team, a beautiful Chinese Dance by the RTH Dancing Team, and a captivating Piano Solo by Jingming Feng and Alvin Young.
The night also featured cultural displays like the Taichi Fan Dance and Taichi Sword Dance, as well as solo singing performances by Gong Ning Li and Bao Zhen “Pauline” Lin and a fun Clapping Exercise by the Chinese Walking Group. Attendees indulged in delicious Chinese cuisine and delightful dim sum desserts, all while participating in very generous raffle giveaways that brought smiles to many faces, including our $100 gift card winner!
A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated members of the Chinese New Year Event Committee (Terry, Scott, JC, and Jingming of Resident Services; Justin, Sophia and Pauline of the RTH Board of Directors) and the numerous volunteers who made this large-scale event a huge success.
May the Year of the Snake bring an abundance of prosperity, health, and joy to all!
